M. Carol Maurer, M.Ed. has been a member of TLS since 2005. As well as being a presenter at the 2007 Gathering, she won the writing contest with a children's story she wrote about building a labyrinth with John Ridder. Carol has a graduate degree in Leisure Studies and holds instructor certifications in both Tai Chi and Yoga.

She doesn't recall her first experience with the labyrinth for it seems to be embedded in her soul, but she has helped build several labyrinths including the Delaware Art Museum's Labyrinth in Wilmington, Delaware. AS an experiential educator, she presents the labyrinth to all age groups as a joyful and creative experience blending movement, meditation, spirit, art, and wholeness. Currently she has been volunteering with TLS as the Events Calendar Coordinator.
